I am writing to you 14 feet in the air...inside Purple Reign...on the flatbed of a tow truck driven by a nice man named Scott. Why?

I insisted upon a picture in front of the "Welcome to California" sign. We pulled over and proceeded with a full-on photo shoot. We got cold, called it a wrap and went back to our lady of the road. When getting back onto the highway Jo Jo stated that he thought the steering was funny. I looked over to see that we were overheating. We immediately pulled over to let our girl cool down.
We were 170 miles from San Diego and in a pickle.
